man i found this, can't believe it....a blog about grendels lair. the place in the late 70s and early-to-mid 80s (when reaganomics service economy brought the gap down on the location in the end) where music was laid, dreams were made, the ultimate new wave club outside of New York anywhere in the country then.
Grendels was where a very special thing happened to me that I'll always remember, it was where I met my ex-wife. We met, and had a helluva glam hipster time that night in 1983.
Some things happen because the Phophets must have their say in their own infinite way, i.e what is meant to be is and will be....
